Schwedt is not a town you often hear about, despite being quite close to Berlin. It’s of no particular touristic interest so far as I know, and the population has been dropping continously for decades.
According to Wikipedia it is renowned in Urban Planning circles for it’s policy of demolishing empty apartment blocks.
