Just extraordinary. It feels like a rerun of the Major sleaze years combined with some of the lies/excesses of Trump. Current iteration of the Tory party is just appalling.

The “Chris Pincher” part of the headline seems superfluous.
Lets get this right. No. 10 not telling the truth at the direction of the Prime Minister or because the PM has been lying to officials.
Just assume everything No.10 says is a lie, until someone can show you facts which prove otherwise.

I can’t remember who it was but an opposition MP said to the Tories just before the the Vote of No Confidence that there would be another scandal and then another one with Boris Johnson in no.10. He questioned whether they would continue to want to defend this sort of behaviour. I wonder if that struck home or not.
We’ve had him getting a BJ in no.10 and now this since then.
He just threw a grenade on the lie from number 10 and walked away like a boss!!
