Looks terrible. Have you a clue how could leaked your number?
These are really tough to stop, because the messages are coming from other users that have been compromized. The only real thing you can do is to block the numbers and to report them to the Bundesnetzagentur.
To whoever has an android phone, download the google app for messages. They have quite a nice messages spam filter. I had the same problem and it worked for me.
change your number and don’t just give it out to everyone. maybe get a dual SIM phone and keep your old one of you really need to, but I would just trash it.
I think it’s worse this year worldwide. Me and my roommate (in canada) have been getting absolutely bombarded with calls and texts. Way worse than ever before
Report them to the Bundesnetzagentur (IIRC).
Your phone may be able to block calls/messages from numbers not in your contact list
I got a new tablet with a new simcard, and thus, a new number… Never used this number anywhere… Still get these messages sometimes.. I just block and delete…
But what I want to say… It’s not necessarily you who is compromised, but really just a random number generator.
Change your number
You can block messages / phone numbers. If you are on Android I can recommend this app: Truecaller
