Better trip advice, than the same fucking questions about the island and it’s issues. From new accounts no less.
Same thing goes down on r/malta and probably every sub for holiday destinations as kalokairi approaches
We don’t get paid though
I don’t get it.
Anyway, can I get a bus from Troullous to Vyzakia?how much does it cost? Can I wear a tanga?
Haha I’m guilty of this!

Oh sweet summer children, come to r/crete to see what a real TripAdvisor subreddit looks like. 😉
I am fortunate enough have a home in Cyprus and also a small place in Britain where I live and work for 11 months of the year. I used to rent out the Cyprus property for a few weeks. I always used to make a fuss of my renters to ensure they had a nice time, relaxed and left to enjoy their stay.
I had never been on Tripadviser, but I did use their website to check out potential locations to stay etc. I had loads of good feedback and unbeknownst to me a few of the people staying at my place had commented on trip advisor. This had happened a couple of times, I don’t know how often but out of the blue I got this really snotty note from trip advisor accusing me of writing my own positive reviews. I wrote back saying that I didn’t even know the property had been listed. They wrote back saying I would be let off with a warning this time. I replied that I didn’t want my property on their site and they have no right to have it on their site in the first time. What an offensive, aggressive awful bunch of people.
