>She claims the man also served dairy cheese to vegans, changed use-by dates on food, refused to throw out old meatballs, told an employee with possible Covid to come to work and made her put sanitary towels in the kitchen bin.
What wasn’t included in what sounds like a headline designed to be deliberately inflammatory to the anti-vegan brigade.

Good for her for standing up for herself.
Hostile behaviour by the boss
*highstreet fast food franchise manager* acts like *highstreet fast food franchise manager.*
the only people in any way surprised by this are the people who get angry when counter staff arent bouncing like puppies to see them.
anyone who worked any part of hospitality will know from experience these sorts of people are the ones who are put in management positions as standard.
As an ex vegan I will never defend the losers who attack vegans. There is no ethical basis on which to argue for meat eating, save health (IBS or some other serious condition). If you eat meat just face it is a selfish thing to do, don’t kid yourself.
Well, at least she’s not the first female employee in history to have had their male boss waving his meat in their face!
You can’t go waving your meat in your colleagues faces and not expect some repercussions.
I’ve had a subway worker rest regular cheese on my bread then remove it. I called him out. He begrudgingly replaced the bread. I watched him like a hawk. I don’t particularly like this “get one over on the vegans” bullshit.
Well treat your staff with respect.
What ever happened to vegetarianism? Why is everything suddenly you’re either vegan or you’re not?
Veganism is a bit too much for me but vegetarianism is doable.
She can’t have had many options for jobs. She must have found it gross dealing with all that shitty, low-welfare animal products.
