Is it bad I can’t choose what scandal is the defining one?
The real scandal isn’t that Johnson had the meeting but that it wasn’t widely reported.
The British media is mostly unfit for purpose.

How I wish that *The Guardian* did proof-reading. Today it is worse than ever in that regard.

Imagine if a Labour foreign secretary attended a NATO summit, immediately got rid of his security, minders and flew to meet a KGB senior officer possibly carrying NATO documents, going missing for a few days before reappearing still pissed for a flight home alone.
The right wing press would have a meltdown.
Probably should be but is it though? Doesn’t seem to have caused anywhere near the stink of partygate.
This isn’t a scandal, no one even cares. Sorry journalist, you should’ve happy slapped a man dressed a clown on tiktok if you wanted some actual kudos
Boris Johnson is a traitor. He went straight from a UN meeting on the Skripal poisonings to report back to his KGB handlers. Any other interpretation is wilfully obtuse. This is unprecedented. Strange why some are trying to play it down.
