Russian students in Europe face discrimination — and pressure from Moscow

  1. I mean, I doubt anyone is discriminating Russians who are explicitly against the war and Putin’s regime. And if they support it or are indifferent about it, then they sure as hell deserve to be called out and socially ostracized…

  2. “In the wake of the Kremlin’s war on Ukraine, which began in February, Russian students in European universities have been caught in a tough spot.On one side, some students report rising levels of Russophobia in the West. From another direction, Moscow is attempting to incentivize them to come back home to study.”

One thing is being a Russian student AGAINST Putin’s regime, then it is discrimination, another is being a Russian student SUPPORTING Putin’s regime and spreading Kremlin propaganda.

And also, Moscow attempts to get students to “come back home to study”, while the Kremlin is enlisting every single russian civilian to become cannon fodder in Ukraine? Sounds fishy to me.

  3. Easy.

Sign an open letter against the war and with support of Ukraine with your portrait attached.

Failure to do so and you’re one of them with the invaders.

  4. ITT: Incoming Balts, Poles and Ukrainians who doesn’t believe that there is a people which gladly wish your children death by curbstomping, just because you are Russian by passport.
