Lithuanian delegation lands in Taiwan

  1. China will sooner or later find a way to hurt Lithuania.
People should not forget that in all their *Hurra-suck-it-Winnie* jingoism.

And then it will be interesting to see what the EU does.

  2. It will be fun when China tries to hurt Lithuania and 350 millions Europeans get extremely angry at them.

I for one would suggest a good response would be to impose drastic visa requirements for tourists from China. Maybe forbid them from bringing imaging equipment (cameras, phones et c)

Given the amount of Chinese tourists we get every year, that should make for a very large pool of angry Chinese who are yelling at their government.

It might even cut down on some of the industrial espionage and IP theft but I’m probably being optimistic.

  3. nice. I hope Lithuania and EU officially recognises Taiwan as a country one day just like the Paraguay does

  4. It’s so strange to see a group of people, and they are all wearing their masks correctly. I haven’t seen that in real life ever.

  5. I find it funny how we all celebrate Lithuania here even though Lithuania is literally one of the last countries to indirectly recognize Taiwan as a country within europe.

    It was about damn time…

  6. “On 23 November, during the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis to Washington, D.C., the United States of America, a contract for export guarantees or direct loans, worth up to 600 million dollars, was signed with the Export-Import Bank of the United States.”

It is curious how much this delegation will get from Taiwan.

Anti-China is really a good business.

  7. I am so proud now that Lithuania and Poland were co-creating one country once. Keep up the good work Lithuania bros. Btw. I like the chill style of the lady in the middle.

  8. Poor Taiwan. Politicians are starting to figure out Taiwan is a great content farm for virtue signalling. We’ll see more of these empty gestures that don’t have any real, positive impact on Taiwan.

  9. China seems to be not interested in Lithuania at all. If you say you are from a neighborhood where 2.8 million people live in China, you ask back if you are from a small city.

  10. gotta love Lithianian’s stance for freedom — they’ve been oppressed by communist regime and have a recent memory of both the struggle and the virtue for supporting and maintaining democratic freedoms. Currently taking no shit nor giving a blind eye

  11. They look like they’re good friends, I never thought I wanted to work in a delegation until now
