I’m not sure what I’d want. It’s great to be “independent” and die in your own familiar surroundings, but otoh, if you don’t have a social support network or can’t afford to keep up the maintenance of your home, it can be a very lonely life.
The sad thing about being the oldest is that you only hear about them when they die…
