Good. I had a guy practically dry humping me trying to get through the barrier at the same time last week. I miss social distancing. Not sure how they’ll enforce it though.
So; people who don’t pay fares, banned from paying fares. That’ll teach them.
It’s a bad call to think that everyone who was dodging fares, would have chosen the journey or be able to pay it in the first place, they should really factor that into the calculations of lost revenue
How would they even police this?
Aye, make the poor suffer!
Maybe, just maybe, if fare-dodging has become such a big problem that there needs to be a new and tougher crackdown on it, that maybe the fares are just a bit too high? Maybe, just maybe, they might want to consider lowering the cost of fares?
…Naaah! That can’t be it! That’s just stupid! Clearly it’s because there’s more bad people around who are willingly choosing to break the law by not paying the cheap and pleasant cost of fares, just for the sheer thrill of it(!)
I bet they don’t even want to get to where the journey takes them, they just want to dodge fares all day long just for the fun of it(!)

Contrast with how this case was handled https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/apr/13/man-avoids-prosecution-pay-back-43000-train-fares
