If I were a betting man, I’d wager at least one of these balconies is roasting peppers right now to put in jars and all the other neighbors hate them. It’s about that time of the year.

This is the Eastern Europe. I think is the same in Romania, Hungary, Poland, maybe in Slovakia.
Welcome, welcome to City 17…
Similar to Portugal.
Ах панелките. Добър екземпляр, бонус точки за частично санираните балкони.
Is it normal to fortify your balcony with concrete bricks? Wtf? Next time u gonna tell me they put chimneys on their balconies to heat their apartments with coal and wood too…
Ahhh, right now I’m sitting and looking at such a building
These kind of favela like buildings are also very very common in Italy, so it’s not just Eastern European commie blocks.
So all the posts I see in r/askbalkans of all these nice buildings in Bulgaria are misleading? Bulgaria has ugly, concrete buildings too? At least we Greeks aren’t trying to fool anyone, we happily call Athens ugly :/
I wouldn’t except such run down panel houses in the capital, here in Hungary, Budapest the panel houses are well maintained maybe I could find some like these in kőbánya but I doubt that. However in Salgótarján where I previously lived it’s quite common to see houses in this condition and some are in even worse condition.
