Why is everything with this government such a nasty ploy to cling on to power? It’s like they all had any morality and decency removed before taking office. Democracy means compromise for the betterment of all, not a roadblock in the way of you doing whatever you want.
It is an open secret that the party in government are biased to their supporters when creating lords.
They just continue to prove that the Republicans in the US and the Conservatives over here are one and the same, cut from the same cloth and working from the same corrupt playbook – the idiots guide to Facist Dictatorships.

I swear had this taken place, I’d have take up arms. Civil war.
Labour should just plain expel them. Bill on day one and immediate parliament act.

Threats to democracy should be shut down. I’d love to see the entire tory system taken apart. Including their private school breeding grounds. Then split Labour into two.

Its a house of peers, I would be surprised if they *weren’t* majority conservatives. The issue isn’t that its packed with Tories, but the fact that aristocrats have fast-tracks to politics simply because of the family that they were born into.

Need a fully operable constitution. Can’t rely upon convention any longer. The Tories have sounded the death knell of the British unwritten constitution.
