It’s only one of the most expensive addresses in the country.
I know someone living around there. The gaffs are fucking glorious and worth every cent. But I’ll still piss and moan becuse I can’t afford a great house in one of the most exclusive parts of Dublin, and it’s the governments fault.
This is mad. I used to go to school around there and houses like that were worth around 90k max 20 years ago. How the fuck can it be worth that much now?
Location is key here, it’s right beside the luas and a stone’s throw from the city centre. But significantly it’s a 2 bed that’s 120m m2.. current apartment standard is 73 m2 minimum so this is spacious af. The recipe is simple. People want size to grow into in a decent location, yet we’ve made a simple goal so exclusive that prices are this inflated.
A lot of those houses cover far more ground than you could appreciate from the front, many have large extensions extending into the garden to the rear of the property.
