Michael Moynihan: Cork is gone to pot with people openly smoking dope on our streets

  1. His whole article is based on the premise that he experienced a contact high years ago after sitting ‘for hours’ in a confined vehicle with someone smoking. So now it’s obvious that whenever a small child walks past someone smoking weed outdoors they’ll obviously experience the same thing?

This is pure “won’t somebody PLEASE think of the children” shite, dressed up as someone standing up for their oldset mentality and not afraid to appear uncool.

    Melter

  2. In fairness, there is apparently a lot of weed smoking on streets in Cork city, which frankly, is disgusting.

I’m wholly against illegal drugs of any kind, especially when they are smoked.

BTW, I say “apparently” because I can’t smell weed. I’ve never been able to. But I’ve had friends and family members point it out to me many times in Cork City, as well as other places, so I do know it happens.

I have zero sympathy when anyone doing drugs, including weed, is arrested, even if it’s only a small amount. Illegal is illegal, and if you’re caught, that’s you’re own fault.

Yes, I’ve done illegal stuff in the past. I was just lucky not to get caught, but if I did, well… that would have been tough shit on me.

  3. Gosh, I can only imagine the terrible consequences like… the absolutely no consequences this is surely having.

Idk, local Centras struggling to meet the demand for Buffalo Hunky Dorys maybe?

  4. Just Legalise this already and build coffee shops were lads can go. And Make smoking on streets illegal similarly to how drinking is and problem solved because for non weed smokers the smell of it definitely gets to you and no its not the same as tobacco

  5. All the problems the city has with Heroin and prescription drugs and this whinge bag is on about Cannabis. What a backwards kip. Whole article is waffle.
