At first I was like “*Finland, you sure about that* 🤔” which quicky turned into “Boy, good job Latvia, Croatia and Chechia.” These are the real things that matter (I suppose shout out to Geece, too).

Some of these categories are not really that positive. I tried to make a list of things EU countries are best at that are quite positive, but the sources are all from over 15 years so probably some are out of date.
Most press freedom: Finland
Most recycling: Germany
Best income equaliyt: Sweden
Best healthcare: France
Lowest murder rate: Slovenia
Highest % spending on education: Denmark
Most with university degree per capita: Ireland
Most spending on space per capita: Belgium
Highest life expectancy: Spain
Highest employment: Austria
Lowest municipal waste per capita: Latvia
Lowest obesity: Romania
Best universities: United Kingdom
Least poverty: Czech Republic
Least crime: Luxembourg
Least suicide: Malta
Best HDI: Netherlands
Highest economic growth (since 2005): Slovakia
Lowest public debt: Estonia
Most UNESCO cultural sites per capita: Cyprus
Still missing Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Greece. Any ideas?
