Really doesn’t make any sense. You can’t claim you’re fleeing war when you’re already in Ireland. It’s fine to simplify a process but to have a more difficult entry route to public jobs for all EU applicants and to give preference to Ukrainians isn’t right. At the same time Ukrainians should be learning English if they don’t already speak it. Many countries have tried teaching in a students native language but it works against integration and causes separation.
I had a friend who had to leave the country in order to teach primary school years, IIRC.
Any chance they’d have a go off the Cork Limerick motorway as they’re at it.
