My husband and I are planning to travel to Norway 2023. Has anyone booked a several day hiking tour with any groups? I’m wondering if its worth the expense to use a hiking tour versus planning our own itinerary. I guess I’m worried about transportation the most since we are not familiar with the area. We would like to do some hiking, visit an orchard and do the cider tasting, and do the dome at Trolltunga. I liked the itinerary below the most. Would it be just as easy to book this stuff myself and navigate to the hikes?

ETA: I usually plan our own itineraries with hiking/activities that we enjoy. We normally rent a car, but I’ve been reading that driving can be intimidating for those of us not used to the terrain. Other places we have been have had well marked trails and parking/shuttle services for more popular hikes.
