Universities have never been that interested in catching cheaters. Not in the last twenty years anyhow.
There are a half dozen reasons.
Of course they have.
The majority of universities are only interested in getting students in then back out as soon as possible whilst relieving said students of all loose change as they go through
No they are not, that is a load of shite. However the ridiculous amount of red tape required to adapt courses to changing requirements (e.g., COVID surge requiring less in-person assessment, or difficulties in booking rooms due to over-enrolment) makes it difficult to actually do our job. But it’s not the sort of nuance I’d expect to see in a garbage rag like the daily mail.
