I’m trying to come up with appropriately Gaelic sounding names for a fictional story where the British isles are a large peninsula. How do these look?

The where?
They don’t look or sound like Irish names. Best bet is to use actual Irish names. Google “Irish baby names” and you’ll get literally hundreds to choose from
Isnt Albania a country
I should clarify that I meant names for the Landmass that would replace the British isles
Saielge sounds like a d4 Irish sailing school.
Sounds more Roman Britain than “Gaelic”.
None of those sound Irish at all. Just go with a historical Irish placename.
There are also pre-Anglo Saxon names you could use. Say from the Britians or the picts. Or from the Gauls. Or use the Roman name Hibernia.
Those are Latin sounding, icenii, Caledonii, brigantes were Latin names for tribes, you want Goidelic or brythonic names
The irish for a large peninsula is Leithinis Mór. So you could have some kind of riff on that.
None of these look Irish. Just open Google maps on Ireland and zoom in and scroll around until you find a name you like and change the letters a little.
Fun fact – British isles is not an accepted term, it’s an old colonial term coined by the Brits. Ireland is a separate landmass.
More commonly accepted terms are the British and Irish Isles or the British and Celtic Isles
When you have to repeat fifth class during the summer.
Tìr Na nÓg – Mythical Irish Land
Camelot – Mythical English Land
Combine them in some sort of bastardisation of them both maybe?
