I was heartily chastised on this sub for stating that Boris Johnson has been in this for personal profit. I was strongly informed that his history is of selfless giving when he could have been in private business.
The world is such that I have no words for someone who can look at what Johnson both does, and doesn’t do, and then says this about him.
Even if he attended, he would just sit there and contribute nothing useful to it. Others will do the work and he will stick his seal of approval on it, with the media framing it as Johnson’s plan to save the vulnerable in return. Johnson never really put any effort in when he was acting PM, he won’t now he is a placeholder.
