Saw this add on Facebook and would be potentially interested, but I know nothing of the company and I’m afraid it’s scam. Does anyone know anything about it or ever heard of it? apparently it’s a recruiting agency.

  1. I guess it won’t be a scam, since recruiting agencies are very common for job searches these days. But customer support is not a career job, be prepared to work close to minimum wage and under a lot of pressure. A basic customer service job in Greece would get you 700-800€ a month. Because of the French language requirement, I see it could be a bit higher. But renting a 40 sq.m. apartment in Athens could easily cost 50% of your wage, unless you are willing to live in a very old building.

I don’t know what the relocation package could cover. I think it wouldn’t be bad to send your CV, but in case you accept an offer, try to get reassurance about as many details as possible regarding your residency and all other parameters, taxes, etc. If you have a contract signed by both sides, there’s not much to be afraid of. But definitely ask for time to read the contract before you sign.

  2. This is not very likely to be a scam but you should take into account the change you’ll see in your daily life and quality of living when you relocate to Greece and in a city like Athens to boot.

I did the same back in 2015 and the first year was a complete shock. I’m doing a lot better nowadays but I had to put in the extra work to move out of Athens and find a new place to settle in.

  3. This is most likely an ad for one of two companies: Teleperformance or WebHelp.
It’s not a scam. It’s fairly low pay call center work that does not require Greek language skills.
