Some findings were quite interesting, like the difference between how Ireland views it’s health system [very bad](https://i.imgur.com/7ZygUym.jpg) and how it views its [education system, which people think is good](https://i.imgur.com/vWKua34.jpg).
Around 45% trust local government. Around 50% trust national government.
Around 70% trust civil service.
Comparing to other countries might make it look better but the numbers for local and national government are still low.
Regular civil servants do the majority of the work. They get a bad reputation but they get the job done. It is the government and higher up civil servants that make the policy who people have issues with.
I dont understand how this can be the case
People complain about bureaucracy from the garda revenue, councils, social welfare all the time.
I have no trust in the OECD
😀
It is yeah.
Lovely people trust us. The plan has worked now to get back to doing dodgy stuff whole no one is looking 🙂

As one myself, thanks!
The perpetually outraged will be outraged at this news
This should be interesting, can’t wait for the journal “article”.
Civil Servants yes but government is questionable
Out of curiosity what is the percentage?
is the number in Ireland high or just really low elsewhere?
Really interesting survey: link to the whole thing is [here](https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/governance/building-trust-to-reinforce-democracy_b407f99c-en)

[It’s also good to see that people think they’d be treated fairly](https://i.imgur.com/tGNo9nE.jpg)
