  1. I don’t know. If only there was some kind of a proven-to-work security guarantee against an attack on your country.

  2. Sweden and Finland have massive nuclear bunkers and are probably the only countries that would survive a nuclear war intact.

  3. We haven’t heard for some days the rhetoric of nuclear war from russia, it came today.

The bully trying to spread intimidation.

  4. “Senator Rand Paul, known for his narratives resonating with Russian propaganda, expressed his fears about the possible escalation of Russia’s military activity on the European continent, and called on NATO not to accept post-Soviet nations into the Alliance.”

Not only our accession, I assume. Unless he’s a bit clueless.

  5. The truth of the matter is this: Every NATO country is under the nuclear umbrella. That means Russia has lost its nuclear edge over these countries, increasing the stakes for an invasion. If Ukraine had nukes, things would’ve been very different today.

  6. Utterly meaningless, even without NATO both are now guaranteed by a nuclear power. In the event of an attack, it would result in two nuclear powers going to war, it’s simply not going to happen.

  7. So they both don’t care about us joining NATO but at the same time threatens us with nukes? Just make up your damn mind putler

  8. Lmao “Oh you want to join a military alliance that is mainly defensive in nature? Well I’ll proportionally respond by plunging the entire world into a nuclear holocaust scenario”

  9. >Russian propaganda intensified an informational and psychological campaign aimed at Western audiences against NATO expansion, in particular circulating the narrative about the probability of nuclear war as a result of Sweden and Finland joining the Alliance.

I have literally not heard a peep or seen any of this alleged “intensified informational and psychological campaign” outside some frantic Redditors.

    >That’s according to the **Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine**

The only example given is one American politician who is saying what he has always said. I think I am reading disinformation, but it’s not from Russia.
