You have no idea how this has upset Irish Travellers all over Ireland and the UK. Doesn’t matter that it is #TravellerPrideWeek the anti Traveller racism does not stop to let us catch our break.

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?
Are people ok with the pretence of burning travellers or effigies of politicians?
Or is it because its travellers it’s ok?
Such a hate riddled society.
Edit: how the fuck did they get the caravan up there??
That’s… impressive
That looks more than a wee bit photo-shopped, and the lad is using a Dr Christian Jessen photo as his avatar. Some critical thinking might be required here.

Assuming the image of the caravan sitting up there isn’t fake, there’s a very real chance it’s up there as a hut / shelter / den etc. It’s really common for them to have these on site somewhere. Someone usually stays in them 24/7 in the run up to the 11th night. They’re usually built beside the bonfires but I’ve seen them built inside the bonfire too.
Saying that it could also be an attack on the traveller community, nothing would surprise me when it comes to Loyalist bonfires, but I’d imagine they’d be more inclined to scrawl some anti-traveller slogans on some bits of plywood than lift a caravan with a crane.
Are they burning the caravan? Or is it there for building purposes? Is that a done thing with these bonfires like other construction projects?
How come travellers aren’t making some call-out videos to this lot? The perfect target if you ask me.
