PKK has been burning forests in Turkey since 1980s. Is this causing any effect on other countries such as contributing 0.5-0.75 Celcius-Degrees to heatwaves etc? What if PKK is burning forests in their supporters’ countries too? In Turkey, government simply builds a town in place of burnt forest (which is bad). Is any European government doing same to”legally” replace forests by apartments, shopping malls, etc?
