When I were young we used to boil to death every day in our school issued woollens. And were lucky!
In all seriousness, gonna be a hot one for some. Slap up, wear a hat, drink water, don’t try to do too much in the sun, and watch out for each other.
Might chuck the Husky’s cool pad in the freezer, although by the looks of it we won’t be too bad up here.
Yeah, we got an email today that also told us teachers have to assess how safe their classrooms are and move their lessons out of there if it gets too hot

Are any schools still open? Most have broken up for the summer surely?
It’s almost like school uniforms are a dumb and stupid thing in the first place.
Let kids wear what they’re comfortable with wearing. Maybe they’ll feel more comfortable with sitting in a classroom and ready to learn then, and maybe their parents will have more money to spend on things like food and bills instead of paying large extortionate sums of money on such a pointless and obvious scam.
Seems a bit stupid to send children home earlier, when it’s going to be hotter. May as well just keep everyone home for the whole day
