I visited Hasselt a few weeks ago. Mainly to pay a visit the their ‘Japanese Garden’. It was a wonderful trip. The greatest joy was the people there. People took the time to really help you if you asked something. Strangers saying ‘goedendag’ and greeting other strangers all day long. Some dude even hung up his phone call to show me the way to an ATM. There seemed to be a Latin American festivals/market, with fun music and great food. The view outside of the train only became better and better entering the Limburg. Me and my girlfriend had enough of central Belgium. Housing is insane. Apartment complexes where you have to live like sardines, is the only payable option left. There is almost no more nature left in even the smallest villages, everything is becoming a part of a big metropolitan city. But the worst are the people. Nobody here has time. Nobody cares about anything but themselves. I just get looks like I’m an idiot if I say Hi to strangers.
Sincerely, someone living near Mechelen
Hasselt doesn’t exist, it’s a government conspiracy
When and where in Hasselt was this picture taken?
Well, there used to be a big haystack there
Hmmm, a bospoeperboske?
Even my beerput is a more romantic place…
Is this another way of saying that a lot of people got railed on that spot?
