Fighting for access to his son, gets it all he way to court and instead finds the mother has killed his kid.
Social work failed, family justice system failed, mental health system failed and finally her own mental health failed. What a shitty outcome for so many people.
Not to mention the grandma forced to pick which relative to try and revive.

Thank God the social services in this country know what they’re doing(!)
My sister got threatened by the social services who were called to investigate her because one of my nephews had a couple of bruises on his elbow (which he got from playing football in his school’s playground, and it was a teacher who flagged it up upon seeing the bruises). She was panicking and stressing really badly over it. She was having legit panic attacks over it. She’s a good attentive mother to her kids.
I was like, “Calm down, sis. It’s only the social services. They literally allow monsters off scot-free who physically abuse and beat their children day in day out, who break their bones and crack their skulls, and the social services do absolutely nothing about it whatsoever besides issue them with a gentle ‘warning’. They’re not going to take your children away just because one of them got a bruised elbow in the playground. So relax, would ya!”
