  1. >Workers at Network Rail and 14 train operators are to strike for another two days in August in a row over jobs, pay and conditions, the RMT union has said.

    >Members of the union will walk out on 18 and 20 August.

    >The RMT had already announced a strike for 27 July, the day before the Commonwealth Games opens in Birmingham.

  2. It’s not a wonder. Only decent part of their last offer was the priv card and they can’t even tell us if it will be taxed as a benefit in kind or not.
Sure they offer no compulsory redundancies but still want all those staff gone.
They also want maintenance tasks reduced by half.

Some of the other stuff makes little sense as well. Sharing vans ? Now I can’t speak for depots not in my area but we do share vans only time we didnt was when they implemented the rules during covid.
Also while they want to arse about over saving 100m quid they want to re implement the bonus scheme that costs them well over 100m a year.
Mixed teams is another pointless thing as well. When we need to work together we already do. Having one guy from the track side with you isn’t going to help in any situation. He will be stood about doing nothing because he isn’t trained on anything outside his job.

  3. Train drivers can fuck off.

Have lots of sympathy for the lower paid railway workers and those poor bastards at BA who have been cheated of 10% of their salary.

Train drivers on way more than the median wage can fucking do one.

  4. What’s wrong with these people?

They’re trying to disrupt the working class as much as possible whilst trying to hoard as much wealth as possible.

    These strikers are an abomination

  5. Fuck. I blame Boris for this and we’re gonna to see more strikes because the tories don’t view workers as people. Just disposable tools. Reese Moggs just dreams of the day where he can bring back enslavement of the poor.
