Went to Oostende and this was beyond shocking. People don’t even bother to move their stuff when the tide comes back so besides trash people even left their clothes and gear in the water.
All my respect to the amazing people who were cleaning it it insanely hot conditions, they make the world a much better place.

Why don’t they put huuge trashcans on the beaches?
I know, it won’t solve everything, but it can elliminate some fo the waste. Every 50 meters there should be a central point where people can throw their trash. A dune buggy collects the trash every couple of hours.
If even possible to lay piping, they could install drinking fountains at those places, but that would take away sales from the beach bars, so unlikely.
Can drive hh to the beach (probably even complain about massive qeues) , stay at the water for hours on end but walking 50metres to take out your garbage oh my bloody bananas that’s too hard.
It’s always the same kind of people doing that…

Most people are morons.. You’d almost invite climate catastrophe to thin the herd. Maybe that’s what Putin is thinking.
