Eat the rich, abolish neo liberalisme and capitalism, take a real look UBI and a 30 hour work week with a big leap forward in automation.. for starters..
Well, we’re going to have to economise again, raise a bunch of taxes on the middle class — since those have money to tax, but not enough of it to avoid taxes — and cut expenses in various public services like health care, public transport and government benefits of all kind. You know everyone needs to do their part and all.
I’ve been hearing the same song — or variations on the theme — for 30 years now. My conclusion on the matter is that our current political system is useless on its best days. Democracy is as good as dead and buried. The power to change things is, as it has always been through history, in the hands of the ones with the most money and influence. Which, in today’s world are mostly companies, and they have little incentive to change things unless it brings in more value for the shareholders.
So yeah. We’re pretty much fucked anyways.
Throw them all out and ask Balkenende to fix things 🙈
As the tax discussion yesterday showed, many are only for reforms as long as those reforms don’t cast the smallest doubt on their acquired advantages. This makes reform impossible in a fractured political landscape.
3 more cycles and EU will out someone in place to fix it with harsh taxes.
Than all parties can wash their hands and act innocently.
Restarting the cycle of promises that can’t be payed back by the next generation
Trump went bankrupt six times and the banks still create billions and billions and billions for him. Deutsche Bank created 2 billion for him for instance.
The way banks create money as debt with interest means a compounding debt is owned by the banks. There is always more debt than money in the system so paying off the debt is mathematically impossible. And the debt keeps growing automatically.
Unless you have zero interest or negative interest loans to cancel the debt. Otherwise the debt to the banks will keep growing. Automatically.
If you think we can pay off the debt then you don’t know how money works. If a politician promises to clear the debt, without changing the monetary system, then he or she is full of poop.
This system called fractional reserve banking was installed by Nixon in 71. We are not on a gold standard as a lot of people seem to think.
Minder witte camionettes op de autobahn
I don’t know what it will take to fix it. To be honest: the future is looking very bleak. When I read about the “koopkracht boost” of taxing more and taking privileges away, I can’t wait to see more of my paycheck go to the state. Either that, or another tax or more destruction of social services by the government. To me, it seems politicians only create laws to hinder or babysit the people, not to really help us progress.
We need someone to turn our state into a model state

Hier gaan we weer 🙂
