I love northern Italy. Some of my favorite places on the planet are in Emilia-Romagna and Toscana.
Went on a bike ride through Torrechiara a couple of months ago when I was starting road cycling. I absolutely loved it, it’s probably part of the reason I continued to practice the sport!
This explains AoE2 italians castle.
It’s really nice to see the places where you grew up on r/Europe.
That’s a really nicely kept castle. Was it restored recently?
Most castles of this type would have at least a few ugly -1700-1800s add-ons in them but this fort looks to be mostly in it’s original 14th century shape.
