Europe’s telcos want U.S. tech giants to help fund network costs

  1. Maybe if those big techs company paid their taxes in the EU, the governments could participate in all the infrastructures costs, making it both cheaper for companies and semi-public, which in turn (imo) could help smaller and EU-based telco companies to bloom

    What a load of disingenuous bullshit. This whole story reads like a cry for corporate handouts to a bunch of telco cheapskates who don’t want to foot the bill for upgrades to the networks they charge money to use
