Either they still believe in trickle down economics or they don’t care for the little folk
Interesting that they don’t have social class on the poll.
Though I’m guessing it wouldn’t make much difference.
I have Tory family members who depend on the NHS for treatment and think the UK should switch to a US-style system.

Of course they do.
They also think kids aren’t getting taught properly; every pothole in the country must be immediately filled in; NHS waiting times are too long; grass verges must be mowed monthly so as not to reflect poorly on the area and harm house prices; social workers should be doing more to prevent children being killed and abused; there should be more bobbies on the beat; more ships in the navy; bigger pensions; and that cake should be both eaten and still available.
Your average Tory wants the government to do loads of things that cost shed loads of money, but just because all the benefits of the system they receive are indirect rather than cash payments then they can fool themselves into believing they aren’t claiming benefits.
Tories… The party of traditional fiscal incompetence and corruption.
If anyone has any doubts as to how utterly inept they actually are, cast an eye over our current economic situation, and then wonder why we are so much worse off than our peers.
All of them were participants in a government that effective doubled the national debt & engaged in widespread fraud with PPE contracts so they can STFU
