Hottest day of the year and I’ve got COVID for the second time this year 😵 FML

  1. I’ve just tested clear after nearly two weeks, the worst symptom for me other than fatigue was left bollock ache

  2. Tested positive two weeks ago today, so that’s as last weekend wrote off.

On Friday night my ankle swelled up like a balloon, so that’s as this weekend wrote off

    FML

  3. Just tested positive for the first time today. Now I need to figure out what the best way to handle it is with having a 6 week old baby 😵

  4. Sorry to hear OP, just got over it myself last week but I’m bunged up again this week so wondering if I might be going for the world record on fastest reinfection.

  5. But at least you have the pregnancy thing going on for you, good luck with the covid though

  6. Last week was my 1st experience with it, it knocked me flat.

still having trouble with breathlessness and lethargy

  7. I got it too apparently. I test daily because I have an immune compromised relative. Usually test in the afternoon… everyone said I sounded very hoarse this morning so I was told to take a test… and yay I have Covid but no painful symptoms yet… hopefully I stay all clear.

Edit: well scratch that I have a symptoms.. I can barely taste anything apple juice tastes like non descriptors sweet and the stroganov my partner made that she said she added way too much mustard too just tastes like creamy salt…

  8. I’m avoiding it at the moment like the plague – mother, father and sister has it. A test a day and still negative, here’s hoping I can hold out long enough for it to pass!

Strangely enough, I’d Delta at Christmas and thankfully never passed it to them. If I manage to stay immune this time, well that would be pretty funny.

  9. Still haven’t caught a (symptomatic at least) case of it yet 2.5 years in, despite serving 300,000 customers in a retail setting…without a mask. (6ft from open door and droplet shield between us though)

  10. Pretty sure I have it too but all my tests keep coming back negative. I want to climb into the freezer and just curl up and die.

  11. I’m still running round trying my best to catch it 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Fuck it, I’m holding out for that new strain of Ebola🤞💪

  12. Me too, positive since Saturday. I’ve a temperature of 39 Celsius, which means I’m feeling cold all the time. I’m sitting here with a woolly hat, fleece, jeans, socks and a blanket, which is the only way I feel comfortable
