__The list is probably incomplete if you consider _effectively_ generally mandatory vaccinations (e.g. Portugal seems to have mandatory vaccinations for children attending education, Romania has mandatory vaccinations for children until the age of 14, Bulgaria has mandatory vaccinations for children, Serbia has mandatory vaccinations after a certain age)__

__Germany__:
>… Therefore, on November 14, 2019, the introduction of a nationwide mandatory vaccination against measles for children and staff in community or health care facilities, such as daycare centers and schools, was legislated by amending Section 20 (8) of the Infection Protection Act accordingly (Measles Protection Act)….

In the Netherlands, forced vaccinations are considered unconstitutional, which explains why we’re different than our neighbours.
Serbia should be blue too.
Article 32 of the “Law on protection of the population from contagious diseases” says that everyone (after a certain age) must be vaccinated by law against tuberculosis, tetanus, hep B, rubella, etc.
I really don’t get the liberal argument in some countries on not having mandatory vaccinations… Like, do they live isolated from the international community or they aspire to a level of individualism of being a root gatherer and living in caves? Even more unacceptable when such countries have huge cities making them both dependent on each other in terms of social structures but also prone to disease outbreaks with huge death tolls … Sounds like some liberal/libertarian american logic with a nostalgia for middle ages standard of living…
Chad Greece denies you need vaccinations to attend mandatory schooling, but in practice all school directors demand it with proof of vaccination from a doctor…
ye lets compare vaccine that were tested for many years
And the nations where the diseases that typically have mandatory vaccinations are eradicated: all of them. It’s all about getting a high enough vaccination rate and if that can be done without coercion that’s all the better.
Greece does not have mandatory vaccinations. It has a system where children must be vaccinated in order to register for the mandatory primary education, but the vaccination itself isn’t mandatory.
Starting Feb. 1st also Austria!
FTW!
I assume this for people under the age is 18?
Bulgaria is wrong as well.
In adulthood, Diphtheria and Tetanus shots are mandatory (at 17, and then at 25 and up it’s reccomended IIRC), and as a kid you get poked up the wazoo. Until 12 you get all sorts of vaccines for stuff I can’t be bothered to research enough to translate atm.

Fake. Ireland has MMR vaccines for all children twice before they’re 12
We have 9 mandatory vaccines actually
Technically, there are no compulsory vaccinations in Ireland, but a [comprehensive schedule] (https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/health/health_services/children_s_health/immunisations_for_children.html) covers numerous diseases from two months to 14 years old.

“Eurpopean…”
i live in Greece and havent noticed such thing
I’m from Ireland..
In Poland all the mandatory vaccination programs are enforced by administrative penalties, not by penal code, and therefore can be challenged in court and many anti-vaxxers won their cases (I’m not talking about Covid, just regular” diseases, like polio or measles vaccines)
Here’s article about that: https://serwisy.gazetaprawna.pl/zdrowie/artykuly/1037654,ruchy-antyszczepionkowe-polska-zachorowania-na-odre.html
