Poland is poised to have one of the strongest tank armies in Europe.

Logistical nightmare? Maybe, but infrastructure will be built and hopefully lobbyists in USA will start caring about Poland more (lot’s of money on the table on all those deals). On the other hand we have to spend lot’s of money and probably those tanks will never be used, so some people will say that buying stuff for military is a huge waste, not understanding that security in itself isn’t really calculable. Better to spend 3% of GDP and have a big army focused on deterrence, than 2% and have your GDP slashed in half once some crazy guy invades.
