  1. It’s part of the Maltese culture. One has to understand that every country has its own culture and heritage.

When I visit other countries I set my mind to accept and appreciate what the other country is offering.

Of course safety is always important, so if you feel that fireworks are too close to your place, report to the authorities.

  2. I’m all for banning this noise but if it did start at 10:30… that’s kinda acceptable. Give and take.

What’s disgusting are the ones starting at like 7/8am… selfish

  3. For those who find fireworks a problem, it’s part of culture. If you don’t like it, bugger off. We have much bigger problems to worry about…

  4. Lovely place you are staying at!

Well, it is feast season here in Malta with a 2 year absence. Every town is pulling out the best, yesterday I could hear fireworks at 1am …

Crazy, but it’s the culture. Downside, if we were attacked (war) we; would not even realise.

  5. Reading the comments, it is interesting that whoever hates fireworks cannot even express their disdain for the things without being attacked or told to leave. Very embracing culture we have. L-aqwa li l murtali tradizjonijiet Maltin.

  6. No fan of fireworks, but coming to Malta and complaining about the noise from the fireworks is like travelling to the Sahara desert, and complain about the heat ….

  7. When I was living in Malta, it was usually the construction noise all over Sliema being the alarm 🤣

  8. Honesament Al lewwel idejquk meta tkun zir imma iktar ma tikber u tifem l cultura maltija iktar tapprezzom u tifem li ma ssibx certu affarijiet li jigru aw malta u flahhar tal gurnata daw l murtali mux ha jaffetwawk xej, ma nafx n nies li joboduhom bl qalb u jejdu li kulturi ohra ma jamlux hekk

Dan l cumment Al min jobod l murtali bl qalb btw

  9. Could you guys be more boring and mind numbingly repetitive. We get it. They’re loud in the morning. We are part of the the EU. There are many member states with different traditions you may prefer, maybe Spain with bullfighting,or German Beer? Just stop being so friggin annoying and either stop complaining, or pick another country to annoy with your incessant complaints. Idk how you don’t get tired of yourselves to be quite honest.

  10. It’s awesome coming back from work after night shift and hear this lovely sound after 30 minutes I got to bed.
    5 days straight, too!
