Check your contract, there is a difference between unlimited in switzerland and most times 10 GB in europe (outside of Switzerland, if you aren’t in Switzerland that’s the same with every other provider.
This is fairly common to have 4G roaming performance only for a limited amount of data. After that you’re throttled down to Edge, though at no additional charge. It’s still free, just not fast anymore. Last I checked I had the same with sunrise, though an amount that’ll easily last me two weeks.
All carriers have a ‘fair use’, or ‘normal use’ policy.
In short, you do have unlimited data as long as you don’t hog the bandwidth.
Sunrise also changed my unlimited europa to 40gb fast and then slow with the beginning of this year…
Read the fine print of your contract again. It’ll most likely say something like “Unlimited data includes 10GB highspeed data and afterwards you’ll surf with reduced speed”
It happend to us. Its when you use more than 40GB within less than a month. We have old contracts, nothing mentioned in there, but they do it.
