The reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone, and boars to Estonia (I think) were unbelievably successful.

Hopefully something like this will help them kickstart conservation of the ecosystem through natural means instead of man made intervention, here in Ireland
They should release herds of Ken and Ryu into the same areas to keep the Bison population in check.
