I think some perspective is required. If we’re claiming most vicious race in history, we also have to include in the reckoning the 1800 US presidential election in which Adams accused Jefferson of wanting to turn churches into brothels…
Certainly the most openly dirty. They are not holding back and it is clear that they are happy to imitate Johnson’s casual disregard for tradition, as well as putting political persona over politics. Johnson’s influence is ever-present and the way he and the media have changed politics for generations as it stands.
The conservatives need to be destroyed.
