UK’s Online Safety Bill on pause pending new PM

  1. Sure do hate being assumed I’m a kid and then being expected to act as if everyone else was a kid even in places where there shouldn’t be kids.

Ignoring how I think kids shouldn’t even be allowed online. Both of my nibblings have already fucked up using the internet, with my nephew being one of those annoying kids on YouTube posting utter shite as well as previously giving his address to an unknown user, and my niece has an American accent from YouTube. Kids just need to spend their formative years in the real world and only be allowed on going into secondary school in a limited capacity and internet users should be able to be assumed to be 13+ except if allowed inside the limited capacity (but that needs to be opt-in).

You can’t protect kids online and protect free speech at the same time, you just need to get kids off the internet.
