Here we go, about to get our first female Prime Minister and it’s basically Le Pen with more fascism nostalgia
Any party with a 3-color flame as a symbol is Fascist.
Why did M5S blow up the partnership knowing they are going to lose 70% of their MPs
I remember watching documentaries about LEGA two decades ago when they were an odd minor party trying to make its way into the mainstream and now they represent the mean, and there are many others who stand for far worse/stupider ideas. As a progressive, I don’t want to sound like a grieving mid-of-the-road liberal, but despite all the flaws of the pre-Bush/Blair/Sarkozy/Shroder era when liberal order was still somewhat intact, people at least valued competence and, dare I say, expertise. Now calling for meritocracy is being equated with cheering for the neo-liberal values.
Seems FDI are getting a lot of vote from (former) M5S voters in this poll. They also get a part of the Lega and FI voters, but most seem to from M5S.
I wonder btw if the PD cancelling their election pact with M5S is already taken into account here – because if it is, PD gets more votes but essentially fucked itself long-term strategy wise.
I don’t like this font. „I“ and „1“ are way too similar.
Imagine having your entire political identity being centered around shooting yourself in the face (Italexit).
Will be interesting to see how the right can combine the anti EU sound with expensive promises to their voters verses the knowledge that they will have to go back to Brussel to get some support with the interest rates and having to offer something in return. Because Brussel will be in the same position to keep the peace but also having some Frugals breathing in their necks if they are to soft..
Interesting times…but after COVID, Ukraine I wish for more boring times..
The question is if M5S, Lega and FDL reach majority would that esentially mean ciao ciao EU?
And I guess the left is going to perform less well and drop in the polls since Draghi stepped down?
