Remember everyone, when a spy agency makes a public “assessment” it’s a political communication rather than an intra-government communication. In terms of political communication, this is just the UK government trying to get the media to run with a story it wouldn’t likely do if the “assessment” was made by a run of the mill government department.

… people check my math, but anyone that implies that Russia had only 800 spies in Europe has lost credibility in my opinion.
It’s worth noting that MI6/SIS has previously sent, on at least one occasion, agents to assassinate a Russian leader
Have they not been saying this for a few months
Didnt russia already ran out of everyting 1 month into the war?
