if covering skin was the issue then bare arms would be banned it is bosses playing HS who have no idea.
My boss (who’s pretty reasonable about most things) has a crazy hatred for people in shorts as its unprofessional. Didn’t like being told that being unable to provide a safe working temperature was pretty unprofessional too.
3 of us took lunch, went to the charity shop and bought some stunningly inappropriate mini skirts…
He looks amazing in that kilt, good for him!
I find it bullshit that shorts tend to be banned or frowned upon whilst skirts are given full approval.
We have a similar problem at work. 30C+ inside and no working AC, yet shorts are still unprofessional and a health and safety risk, meanwhile the women are all wearing lovely skirts and vests. Even if you are not a fan of them at work, it is fair to say these temperatures trump all that. I think me wearing shorts is a better alternative to me nearly blacking out from the heat every day.
Bosses that care about these kinds of issues need to get a life and find some real issues to worry about.
