And if you run out of treats, freeze your pets until payday!
I make a jug of chicken or beef stock.
Freeze it in cleaned out yogurt tubs.
Get a lick bowl and squish some fruit into it or add a thick smoothie mix with dog friendly fruits. Freeze for 20 minutes. My doggo loves it
actually dogs have no hard palate on the roof of their mouths, this means they can get severe brain freeze quite easily and get injured/die
I made doggie ice cream for my pup last weekend. A banana, some frozen blueberries, bit of peanut butter and some oat milk. Blitzed it all in the nutribullet and froze it. He loves it and it was a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the dog ice cream I was getting at the pet store. My dog loves watermelon and cucumber as well so give him those in the heat too
I put tuna bits into an ice tray for the cats, they love it
Heat wave? Back ib ny country summer git 30 -35 3month straigth. Never saw anyone freezing a treat. And ofc dogs were fine. I think mine will be fine 5 days with a little warm
