I lived in Sheffield for years and never once flew from there Pretty crazy given the link roads compared to Leeds Bradford, I went from there once, never again. One of the best runways in the UK, what happened to leveling up the North? This is good for the environment non??? Nice small airport but would have benefited from better public transport links. Good point I’d forgotten about East Mids. I mentioned Manchester as that’s the only real longhaul gateway in the North of England. Leisure passengers which are mainly what Doncaster’ serves, are more willing to travel longer distances to catch their flight.
