  1. >A brawl at Sint-Pieters Station got badly out of hand last Tuesday. Footage shows a man hitting a second man in the knee. The latter lost consciousness immediately and ended up underneath the train. On the basis of camera images, the perpetrator is now being traced.

    >The brawl started Tuesday evening on the train from Ostend to Brussels. Four people got into a fight between two compartments. Around 23.55 hours it got completely out of hand. The argument degenerated in the Gent-Sint-Pieters station, after which the foursome, all bare-chested, got off the train and started fighting.

    >Footage shows how one of them suddenly kneed a man who was standing half bent over. The man immediately lost consciousness and ended up underneath the train. “It was bystanders who immediately pulled the victim onto the platform”, said the federal police. A little later, the railway police also arrived on the scene, but they could not identify the perpetrators.

    >The victim was taken to hospital, but his life was not in danger. The police wanted to question him there, but that was not possible at first given the man’s condition. In the meantime, he was discharged from hospital and a report was drawn up. “No one has been arrested yet. We are looking at the camera images to identify and track down the perpetrators,” the federal police said.

  2. The article doesn’t mention that the onboard staff had to be evacuated, there was nobody to empty out the train and also a dumbfuck in the train pulled a brake lever.

Train couldn’t resume it’s route because people were still in there without onboard staff and also the pulled lever.
