Belgian Parade @ London: video! (more info in comments)

1. [Earlier we posted about the Belgian Parade in London on the 16th of July 2022](https://www.reddit.com/r/belgium/comments/w0iucc/belgian_parade_in_london_16th_of_july_2022_more/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). We promised some videos, so here we are!

   You see the beginning of the parade, at around 11h. The parade assembled in King Charles Street and marches onto Parliament Street in the direction of White Hall and the Cenotaph.

   The parade is opened by the Band of the Irish Guards, who are playing the March of the Belgian Royal Military Academy. Students of this Academy can be seen gala uniform right behind them.

   Third are students of the Petty Officer School at Saffraanberg, followed by the Belgian Navy.

2. Cheers for posting this. As a Brit who has lived in Belgium long enough that I’m on the path to becoming one of you – I love this!

5. Fun trivia: Belgium is in fact the only non-commonwealth nation allowed to have parades in central London while armed and uniformed in remembrance of Albert I.

6. Nice parade, a lot better then that infamous video that surfaces every now and then.

7. Cool, buy every group from the camouflage-outfit onworth is walking on the wrong foot. Left leg should be on 1st and 3rd beat of the music just like the british do it.
