Aw sweet, a country with a genuinely good law enforcement system
I was in Oslo a few weeks ago. I had two great experiences with the police.
I mistakenly lost my passport. Long story short after searching and contacting everyone I could think of the Embassy, Ruter my hotel. I contacted the police at the airport and some kind soul found it and turned it into the police/lost and found. The police were totally chill about me picking it up. Moral of the story, always put your passport in a zippered pocket.
The other story was my company was doing a scavenger hunt near the Opera House. One of the people in my group asked 2 mounted female officers if they would pretend to arrest him. To my surprise they obliged. After we were done snapping a few pics. One of the cops said she wanted her picture too. She took out her riding crop and made the same guy bend over to take more pics.
Politiet når knulletorsdag er rett rundt hjørnet
Yeah they like to finger teenagers poopers
They’re a lot less likely to kill you than for example police in USA.
Its really nice to live somewhere the police is both liked and respected. I friend is a police officer, and he is really good at talking to people. So no matter how heated a situation is, often involving some alcohol, he is able to make the all laugh, and defuses the whole situation.
Different indeed. It is a known fact that clearance rates are bad here, the police are mostly interested in knulletorsdag and harassing known drug users.
Stupid posts like these is what’s wrong with this country, people with their rosepainted glasses on, selling Norway as utopia.
As a foreigner, I feel Norwegian cops are either exceptionally friendly as in this video, or complete assholes on a power trip. No in-between.
Hahaha 22 juli….hahahaha norske politi på 22 juli hahahaha kujoner
I see people complaining about our Norwegian police cracking down hard on drugs….and tbh it’s good that they do that.
We don’t need that shit in this country and we’re better off without narcotics.
They do get away with shit we see as absurd but outsiders from like America will probably see it as nothing compared to their own police.
Down vote this all you want but my point still stands.
A drug free Norway is a good norway
